The second season of the AMC television series Hell on Wheels, created and produced by Joe and Tony Gayton, premiered on August 12, 2012. The second season follows Cullen Bohannon as he tries to find himself again while continuing to drive the westward expansion of Union Pacific Railroad, under Thomas “Doc” Durant. The season’s tagline is: “Still fighting … still searching … still raising hell.”
